Position Title: Senior Manager (Req# 002)


Job Description:
Perform financial risk management in credit risk-related areas.
Support risk modeling, capital requirements, provisions, stress testing, and other key risk management solutions. 
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) while providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other team members in risk, data & analytics and related topics. 
Supervise and provide strategic direction for various projects related to risk management, capital optimization, and IT solutions for Credit Risk quantification within financial institutions.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients in the banking sector, understand their needs, and ensure the consultancy firm delivers value-added services. 
Prepare and supervise contracts, define the scope of projects, negotiate fees with clients, and develop initial proposals. 
Oversee recruitment, staffing and internal training to ensure the consultancy firm acquires, allocates and develops top talent proficient in our core business. 
Spearhead innovation initiatives within the consultancy firm by leading the development of new tools, methodologies, and solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the banking industry. 
Position is fixed location based in Reading, MA office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed. 
International and Domestic travel required 50%.
Your profile
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), Finance, Economics or a directly related field plus eight (8) years of financial risk management experience, within a consultancy firm or in a bank or financial institution. 

Experience must include:
 
Six (6) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
  • Working in consulting engagements with financial services clients in the USA, Mexico, and Spain, or internally in the bank’s teams located in these aforementioned countries 
  • SAS and SQL programming 
 
Four (4) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
  • Model Development, Capital, Provisions, or Stress Testing 
 
Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
  • Managing a team of professionals in the financial risk management domain 
  • Risk and capital database (BDR) 
 
Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification required* 
 
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary: $197,000.00 - $202,000.00 /year.
