About the Role
 
Mirai RiskTech is looking for a Power Platform Developer with strong technical experience and a solution-oriented mindset to join our team. This role will be responsible for optimizing business processes using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
The person in this position will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate functional requirements into scalable, efficient, and secure solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, along with solid development best practices and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Desktop Flow and Cloud Flow, Canvas, Power BI, Dataverse)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop and maintain Power Apps applications, including canvas and model-driven apps 
• Create and manage workflows and automations using Power Automate
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power Platform solutions
• Stay current with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Document development processes, configurations, and create user guides

 

Your profile

We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in technology. The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Brings over five years of programming experience
• Applies strong software development principles and has hands-on expertise in developing canvas and model-driven applications using Power Apps
• Proven experience in designing and implementing workflows and automations using Power Automate, managing data with Dataverse, and creating effective data models and visualizations with Power BI to support business insights and decision-making

Requirements
 

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field. Proof of academic credentials and professional license number required
• English proficiency at B2 or higher (required)
• 5+ years of programming experience with strong knowledge of software development principles
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Desktop Flow and Cloud Flow, Canvas, Power BI, Dataverse)
• 5 years of experience developing canvas and model-driven apps using Power Apps
• 5 years of experience creating workflows and automations using Power Automate
• Extensive experience and strong technical knowledge in data modeling and visualization using Power BI, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and its integration with Power Platform
• 5 years of programming experience in Python

 
Is an asset

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400)
• Extensive experience and strong technical knowledge of Azure services and their integration with Power Platform

 
Location

This position is based in Mexico and primarily follows a remote work model, with occasional on-site meetings as needed for business purposes.
